Company turnover had doubled during the engagement period and the customer base reached 12000. Growth was achieved in an organization comprising over 2000 employees in India through direct motivation of an all India Sales team(218 members) comprising direct sales, telemarketing, customer automation and external billing. Network Global Account processes were implemented with continuous interaction with the Global Account team and Worldwide Regional offices, Country offices in major countries, Express Logistics Centers and Spare Parts Centers. Logistics solutions for Global, Advantage & National Accounts were developed. The transition of Network Global Account process specifications to their Indian operations for the Global and Regional Customers were facilitated. The process of customer automation and Telemarketing across the country with major focus on the metros was developed and optimized. The Export Documentation manual, Business Development process and Key Account process were standardizeded and published with distribution to stakeholders. Engagement included Strategizing, benchmarking, budgetary systems and management of resources, ensuring operational efficiency, complying with legal and contractual obligations of Customer interface management, Technology back-end project management. The Customer Satisfaction Indicator and Business Review process for Global Accounts was Implemented. Advantage products for Indian corporate customers were developed and rolled-out. Training inputs for Express Freight were provided in Training offsites to the entire Sales Force. The Sales presentation kit for effective customer communication was developed and rolled-out. The first Indian commercial Toll-free trial line was jointly tested with MTNL and this was one of the first Indian Companies to receive a toll-free number. This resulted in receiving the All India Service Quality Award from Crompton Greaves. Involved in implementation and award of the ISO 9002 standard.

Engagement with a JV Company employing over 2000 employees, provided direct management inputs for a team of 100 for a throughput of spare parts. Ensured appropriate distribution and logistics solutions with Vehicle manufacturers, distributors, coalfields / State Transport undertakings, retail chains and high volume retail outlets. Developed the market research and advertising strategy for re-launch of product brands. Ensured responsible above the line marketing spend, management of the advertising campaign and contact program with distributors/high volume dealers/fleet owners and leading vehicle service outfits leading to the Successful product re-launch. Improved the quality and visual appeal of packaging and on-pack printing. Successfully defended the trademark against spurious brand imitations. Ensured Marketing/logistics on an All India basis with inputs for effective control of Spare parts Warehousing, supply chain, vendor management, Pick-pack operations, packaging and inventory management. Modernised the Warehousing system and packaging plant. Developed the Electronic forecasting and sales planning system for individual SKU’s. Resulted in revenue and growth targets being exceeded despite widespread industrial recession. Developed the Institutional markets in the Coalfields and State Transport undertakings. Involved in implementation and award of the ISO 9002 standard.
